According to the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) Lieutenant General Seth will succeed Lieutenant General P K Mishra, who will move to a new assignment. The formal change of command will take place during a baton handing ceremony. Lt Gen Seth is presently serving as the Commandant of the Indian Military Training Team (IMTRAT), the Indian Army's training establishment in Bhutan.
